Every second pupil has no idea concerning his future job, every third student leaves university without final examination and every forth apprentice breaks off his apprenticeship. The decision for the right job and the preparation for the start into the job seems to be difficult for lots of young people. Young people do not know which profession they shall choose among the offer of possible professions becoming larger and larger. Individual influences play an important part. Therefore, it is not astonishing that lots of pupils do not know the large assortment of professions and their interest is concentrated on a few possible jobs.

On the other hand, lots of qualified jobs in Germany cannot be occupied. Offer and demand for job trainings should be adjusted in a better way, so that everybody is able to take profit.

But how shall a young pupil know, for which job he has the suitable skills? Only school results do not express enough. The decision process should be based on a rational and systematic level.
